Sharon and Ariel's kitchen was dark, closed off, and disconnected from the rest of the home. Black countertops, wood cabinets, and no natural light made the space feel small and heavy. With kids in the backyard and a dining room right next door, the kitchen had the potential to be the heart of the home — it just wasn't there yet.

THE SOLUTION

San Diego Remodeling Pros opened the kitchen up into the dining room and installed a nine-foot window, flooding the space with natural light and creating a view to the backyard the whole family now enjoys. When unexpected challenges came up inside the walls and ceiling during venting, Mike stayed flexible, came up with creative solutions, and kept the project on budget throughout.

Mike had told Sharon and Ariel from day one the project would take 18 weeks. He finished in 10.
